Jenny's E-Portfolio

     One of the projects that I did in Social Studies was my India Geography Advertisement. You have to pick a landmark in India and make an advertisement on why it is a great place to stay. The subject of my advertisement was the Indus River because the environment there was easy to live in, and the lifestyle there was simple. I had to provide three reasons why the Indus River was a great place to stay. The Indus River is a river located in India. The river carries sediment from the mountains and brings it to the plains. With the farmland, crops are able to be grown. And the river has many resources, so many people fish for things like fish and shrimp. And the Indus River gets their water from the melting ice and snow from mountain ranges nearby, so the river's water level is high. 

 

     This project is one of my best projects in Social Studies. It showed my skills on Google Draw, a program that I rarely use. The project also allowed me to make my project creative, yet informational. I also learned many new skills that I can use on Google Drive and many other applications. I also thought that this project was a really fun project where you get to be really creative and you get to come up with a lot of ideas.

 

     This project was a really fun project. I researched some parts of the Indus River from an earlier assignment. I was also really surprised on the simple life that you can lead when you live in the Indus River. I also was really surprised and happy on how the ad turned out. I think that it looks good and I am really proud on how it turned out. I had a lot of fun researching and putting everything together. Learning about the living environment the Indus River could have was really fun.
