Jenny's E-Portfolio

     One of the tech tools that I used during my school year is Blogger. Blogger is a website that allows you to make a blog and post it for everyone to read. I normally use this tool to write my science and math blogs. In the past, we only use these for science. But now we also use it for math. You create a blog website, and in the blog, you can make posts about your assignments weekly. I use this tool weekly for my science blog. And I use this for my math blog once in a while. In our math blog we write about the lesson that we are learning about, while in our science blog, we write what we do every week, along with a reflection about our work.

 

     This tool really has impacted my learning because rather than writing an essay using pencil and paper, I now get to write using the keyboard and it makes everything more efficient and faster. I also get the oppoortunity to write about what I was thinking about during the entire assignment. I think that I now am able to express my opinion about assignments without stumbling on words and not knowing what to say. And the Blogger tool also points out the grammar and spelling mistakes that I have. And it helped me learn about the words that I never used and how to spell them. I also was able to clearly understand the lesson that I was writing about. Because when I write about my blogs, I always read them again to check my work. And while reading my work, I am also going over and understanding what I was doing in science class for the week.
