Jenny's E-Portfolio

We have a lot of projects in math, almost at the end of every term! Most of them are really fun, but they still have basic concepts of math. One of the projects that I did is called the future entrepreneur project. This is where we had to make a product, and we have to make realistic prices and packaging. We also have to calculate sales taxes and profit. I decided to make a waterproof liquid that you could apply on clothing. I wanted to make this because I always had a problem with getting stuff clean on my clothing. I always spill stuff. I used many chemicals from basic ingredients in order to make the product, and comparing many common products in order to perfect the product. I chose this product because I feel like this is where I stayed true to my plan and what I wanted to do, and it ended up being successful.

This product to me, was very successful in the end, I tested it out on a piece of cloth, and it ended up being really successful. I also feel like this is a large accomplishment in my math class is because of my research and scientific skills that I was able to incorporate into my product. I did a lot of research on it, and I tried to make it similar to other products. And I had to have many tests and retrials in order to make the product successful, and in the end, I was able to make it successful. I also got really good reviews on my product, because it works, and it was a huge accomplishment to do something outside of the box, and be successful at it.
